The Khosagar Khaganate was one of the largest polities in the world and a key ally of the Ceresian Tesamaic. Originating from the Sagar Coast and San-Sagar Island, it combined steppe military institutions with maritime wealth and cosmopolitan trade.

San-Sagar and Maritime Power

San-Sagar protected the vulnerable population from steppe attack and allowed the Khosagars to monopolize the South Perlian coastal trade. The island city hosted permanent Spice League embassies and became the financial basis for campaigns against Yagndelesan pressure.

Classical Khaganate

The Vaas Campaigns and Oloo Projects destroyed Yagndelesan power, urbanized the Sagar Coast, and created Khaniyol as an inland political capital. Over time, tribal structures were preserved for host-raising and representation while the state became more sedentary and legislatively sophisticated.

Ceresian and Colonial Eras

Khosagar cooperation with Ceresia helped defeat Ran pressure and later made the khaganate central to Perlian order. Rietan conquest converted it into a colonial protectorate, but the independence era eventually produced the Khosan Republic.
