The Khosan Republic was the republican successor to the Khosagar Khaganate, founded after the Khosan Revolution and later integrated into the Ceresian-led order.

The Khosan Republic was formed after Berte Khosagar overthrew Rietan colonial government with Ceresian assistance and abdicated dynastic rule into republican presidency.
Republicanization
Berte's republicanism was intended to integrate tribal institutions into government and force modernization from within. The republic thrived under the Third Perlian Pax Ceresia, but its dependence on Ceresian resources and technology led critics to call it a client state.
