Narcouster Empire

The Narcouster Empire was the consolidation of the old kingdoms and counties of Lordshire, Pomdries, Narcissus, Hottorp, and associated frontier domains. Its dynastic unification under the Narcouster line produced a powerful centralized Lonardian monarchy.

Centralization

King Frederick I unified economies, armies, margravates, and frontier possessions through inheritance, dynastic settlement, warfare, and negotiated association with the Frenkian Scheme. His proclamation of an imperial heir created tension with the Bleubergian order and triggered the wars that pushed Narcouster authority into formerly Frenkian frontier lands.

Hanmavian Defeat and Rietan Rebirth

The rise of the Hanmavian Empire shattered Narcouster military power. The dynasty escaped with wealth to Volynia, purchased and trained a freed military community, and founded the town of Rietan. In alliance with anti-Hanmavian forces, this community became the basis of the later Rietan Imperial Republic.
