The Marshanavid Empire was the successor to the Sannamid order, known for preserving river boundaries and maintaining a professional slave-soldier army.
The Marshanavid Empire succeeded the declining Sannamids and fought the emerging Frenkian and Lonardian powers along the Kars and Damian frontiers. Its reliance on slave-warrior institutions eventually helped provoke the Karanshae overthrow.
