Colonial Ceresia

Colonial Ceresia was the Rietan colonial government imposed after the rapid conquest of the Ceresian Empire. It began as a tax-expansion project but became the Capital Government as corporations captured land, administration, and economic policy.

Administration

The emperor was forced to relinquish power, and later Rietan Parliament acted as regent for an infant monarch. Civil services collapsed, cities became shanty towns, and corporate zones replaced older public and religious structures.

Resistance

Suppression of language, script, religion, and economic autonomy created the conditions for the Papersmith Movement and ultimately the Ceresian War of Liberation.
